I dont expect us to sign a top elite striker

I do expect us to sign a target man who can hold the ball up, occupy defenders, and provide 5-7 goals

Personally I’d rather we fixed the glaring lack of creativity in the team so that we weren’t reliant on a target man and could actually get some use out of the attackers we do have. Throwing more money down the drain to bring in someone to score 5 goals and be a big lump for a bit wouldn’t be my preference but yeah obviously we need to do something. A lot of the talk in here and on twitter etc is just catastrophising though, there are so many things to call the club out on but I genuinely just don’t think this is even close to being one.

Yeah that's why he's being brought back not to play. I'm making comment on some of the glaring misses during the first 16 games that he would have slotted.

We would yes, because he wasnt getting the support he deserved from the fans, we were allready on his back this stage of the season, Frank is doing miles worse but we dont see the same vitarol towards him that we seen the ex Chelsea manager getting

Yeah its a good move, skint club has a player scoring goals for another side, its something we have to do

Nothing against the lad, but the last (and I think only) time I saw him play live for us, was away at Chelsea last December. He played about 60 mins and from memory offered very little. In fact Dobbin who replaced him done a lot more in the 30 minutes when he was on the pitch.

Appreciate he’s done fairly well on loan since then, but struggling to see how he will offer much different to what we currently have in the Premier League. Desperately hope he proves me wrong!
