You maybe only half right. This lad is NOWHERE near good enough............we are going down
I think that's probably fair mate, but the needs of the team/ckub have to take precadence at this point in time.
I think he will score a goal or 2 and everybody will be like SEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE.What I’m saying is I don’t think either us or the player will get any benefit out of the way we’ll use him. In my view there’s no way he’s starting games for us, or even being used effectively as an impact sub, so I think the recall will work out pointless for everyone involved.

Then he will spend the rest of his career in League Two.
He wasn’t great getting long balls pumped up to him at Hearts, first touch was chronic.Just a lumbering giant.
There’s always a chance.….Zero chance he scores a goal for us this season.
How on earth is it hindsight when half our fanbase predicted this and the lad hasn't put a run of games together since early 2021.This is all hindsight, no way of knowing how effective he would have been. Frank didn't know Dominic Calvert-Lewin would be injury hit the way he has. Apart from the Bournmouth games we have competed well in all the games we have played.
Based on how Everton operate its much more likely to be the former of your points. The fact is we have no one lined up and we then bring back a player we believed was not good enough 4 months ago.I think there’s been a massive overreaction to this, it does seem like some people just want to complain/panic whatever the club do.
If he’s being brought back to be heralded as the saviour and start every game between now and the end of the season then we’re in big trouble. If - as seems much more likely - he’s been brought back to be another attacking option off the bench with the capability to put the ball in the net, it’s really difficult to see what exactly the downside is supposed to be.

If it looks like desperation, and its Everton who are behind the decision, then it is more than likely Desperation.
These people still expect him to come back and be great in the second half of the season. Absolute madness. How on earth is it hindsight when half our fanbase predicted this and the lad hasn't put a run of games together since early 2021.
