Yes, and then that superb Czech side absolutely blew it against Greece. I was looking forward to a Nedved v Figo final - two great players, both of whom deserved to be European champion - and then the admirable Greeks blew such romance out of the water.

I fancy the Czechs to beat Denmark tonight. They won't feel remotely inferior to the Danes, but will also recognise a very dangerous, mentally-tough side in their opponents. So, there will be no fear and no complacency. Denmark have been superb in this tournament, but my fear is that that emotion has to eventually burn out and they'll run out of rocket fuel quite quickly when it does.

What's it got to do with anything? If Northern Ireland were being excessively lauded for their performances or results, you might have a point. But they're not.

I happen to think Steve Gerrard was always overrated as a player. I think the same of Paul Pogba now. Do I have to mention that I was always crap at football and I'm not very well acquainted with the finer details of tactical analysis. Or that I support Everton and I'd have players of their quality at Goodison in a heartbeat (because 'overrated' is not a synonym of terrible).

And I've no idea what the bit in bold means as an argument against what I said.

Well i was living in Lille for a time and popped over the border occasionally and the beer was great. Although i enjoy a stout mainly these days and don't know how they fare with those there. Had an LHG coffee and walnut stout the other day which was velvet in a glass.

I agree with @davek this is not the best Belgium side, that time has passed. A few magical players surrounded by the mundane.
