Euro2020 Knock Out Rounds

I think that's unfair. I agree they won't make the final because they'll be playing one of Italy or Belgium next. But it's been a decent match, hard fought and pretty even.

Been impressed by the Swiss again who I think were also unlucky with the sending off. Watching most of these games in the knockout stages we will be utterly stupid if we underestimate Ukraine tomorrow night,
It doesn’t matter if we underestimate Ukraine or don’t. If we win it won’t be mentioned. If we do then the haters will say we underestimated them and call the English arrogant. It’s the way it works on here.

I think you have your priorities completely wrong mate. What matters is England doing well, in which case it would be totally wrong to underestimate the Ukrainians. What doesn't matter, or rather what shouldn't matter, is the reaction of the England haters on here. Let them hate. It makes it all the more sweeter if we do well. ;)

I cant believe England have been asked to play this game in Rome. If they win the tourmant they'll have done it the hard way, having only played 6 of the 7 games they played at Wembley.

Looking at that Belgian bench last night made me realise what depth we have in the England squad. Apart from the keeper position we have good cover all over the pitch, and no matter who we start with up top, we will have players on the bench who can come on and cause mayhem on tiring legs. I haven't seen that in many squads where there has generally been a big gap in quality between the starting XI and the bench.

Not just Belgium, but Germany the other night were bringing on the likes of Emre Can and France brought on Sissoko.

It will be interesting to see how Italy replace Spinazzola who has been brilliant so far, undoubtedly the player of the tournament in my eyes. I really don't think Emerson, who replaced him the other night, is the answer.

I know right; mad how one of the host nations has played most of their games at home. I think you should write to UEFA about it.
Host cities.

And have Italy played all their games in Rome?
Have Spain played all their games in Valencia?
Did Germany play all their games in Munich?

So you think we're getting to the final then Dave? Cheers mate :)
