Well as Rashford has explained, in detail (not that he should have to, btw), he was giving himself time to pick the spot, make a decision, because he didn't have confidence.

It was poor management from Southgate. Rashford's pen is half a foot away from working out brilliantly, but it didn't. Southgate put too much on the young lads, it's on him.

Southgate said just as much.

Bizarre that he'd agree to let Saka take the 5th Penalty.

The lad should have a great future, but things like this can make or break a player. Hope he gets over it mentally.

I mean, naturally when Wales population is about 3.1m compared to England's 56m, the sample size is far more significant. I'm sure on a significantly smaller scale there were some idiots too. Just so happens that ours love to be callous, selfish and damningly obvious in their idiocy.

Equally, I saw no violence, and believe it was small pockets of idiots. But you need to highlight them, and name and shame and ban then, because if you don't it will be acceptable.

With a big event, regardless of whether it's football, or a big gig, you always attract that "lads, lads, lads", culture in this country, and I really, really don't know why? It's a big occasion so its acceptable to act like an idiot? throw beer? Bunk in? be Violent?

It detracts from what's been an amazing tournament, which i've fully appreciated, but it's not anything new this... it's happened for years with every major tournament, it happens at gigs etc, it'll be long forgotten news in the not too distant future, which is frustrating because you really could get behind everything Southgate set out pre-tournament.... Players from all backgrounds together, fans finally on side, but a few idiots who reckon they're "fans", but weren't there for any other game is just sad.

The minority seems to be getting bigger and bigger though

Fair play to Tyrone Mings, calling out the two faced Patel.

I mean he still should've had to go off in the last min against us at Villa Park like.

Correct.

As long as you've got people like Patel, who are referring to stands against Racism as "gestures", you're not sending the correct message across.

She's a joke, you'd think as a person in an ethnic background she'd have a little more empathy, but that speaks volumes about her as a person. Lowest of the Low.

See personally, I don't think it is.

I just think we've got a lot of not so intelligent people, who love a day out, and are inconsiderate in their actions. See a person forcing through, and naturally they want to do the same. I've seen it across the board from big outdoor events in the summer. It's not entirely shocking.

I'm trying not to go in circles on my point, but the vast majority who were in attendance on Sunday, went and had a trouble free time, and did so without making headlines.

The few hundred idiots need the news articles, they need to be hung out to dry, and they need to be accountable for potentially causing significant harm to peoples lives.

But make no mistake, just like the anti-social Scotland fans in London a few weeks ago, England have them too, they did in Russia, France if i recall too. It just so happens, to make sure that the message is put across the entire attendance is a disgrace.

If the closing argument is, they stop selling alcohol 1-2 miles around the stadium for International games, then so be it.

As for racism, I think it's just getting highlighted more. But ultimately, unless Twitter, start making you verify your details with Identification, nothing will change. Anyone can hide behind a screen with no further details. They're a joke, and it's 100% something I don't agree with.

You could say the same about Kane for nearly all of the second half and most of the tournament too.

I like Kane, but he looked like he was running on empty last night.

Grealish for Mount and DCL for Kane early on in the second half, would`ve potentially put us on the front again, but Southgate bottled it and went for the David Moyes approach.
While I agree. I think Mount was particularly conspicuous by his absence.
