Well said, legend.
Alan Smith has basically said the same, saying it's mainly about Billionaires lining their own pockets during a health crisis.

Plenty on here areNO ONE IS SUGGESTING LEAVING THE PREMIER LEAGUE
the RS have already taken this as their motto"Never Forgive, Never Forget" could become the English games motto![]()
Outgrown the PL ? They have won it once . Once .
What are Spurs fans saying on their forumsThe Premier League itself would become weaker because the tv companies would not pay as much money as there wouldn't be any games where there is qualification for Europe's top competition on tv, (a loss of many games with something still to play for.)
The loss of income would see less top players from other leagues coming over and this would also dilute the product.
This proposed closed shop is a disgusting idea.
I notice all these plays for power from the American owners are coming at a time when there are no supporters in the stadium to show their disgust for the idea.
They should not pass a fit-and-proper test to be a Premier League club owner.

Has Levy said anything ?
NO ONE IS SUGGESTING LEAVING THE PREMIER LEAGUE
Woodward trying to distance United from all this Euro league it seems, although admits they were involved in PL restructuringThats just not true is it?
Of course people are suggesting it. It looks completely up in the air at present. If it's 20 games it's barely doable alongide the PL (I am not sure it can be done) if it's 37 it isn't compatible.
At the present time, the PL's position is that the only competition teams can play in during the season are UEFA sanctioned ones. So the plan is at the very least considering leaving the PL.
In all honesty, the decision should now be taken out of their hands. It would be hilarious to see the PL essentially say you no longer get any of the funds. How long are United, who've already lost 130m this year survive without broadcasting revenues for the next 2 years? They would be bankrupt.
