Theres a knockout for the top 4 sides from what I've read.

So you'll have maybe 8 teams of 18 relevant by March. That is better, and obviously most weeks they'll only be 1 or 2 completely worthless games in that format so that helps. But I still think they're going to be putting out more low demand products than they realize. They're thinking people are going to be clamoring to watch all these matches and I think it'll be a bit different.

If these clubs stay in the prem and play in this Euro thing, then play weak teams in the prem, they should be kicked out.
Th prem should not become another Carling or FA cup for these greedy grunts.

Well for as long as I can remember, winning a domestic league/cup meant entry into a UEFA competition. They have messed around over the years, but the premise has remained.

Now, there would be no, or at best, watered down, UEFA competition. Everton could win the league, Liverpool could get relegated, and Liverpool would still be in this FIFA thing. Makes no sense to me, other than short term cash boost for 18 clubs.

It'll be like a league then. Some games are bad. Some are good. Some have something riding on it.

Just so happens it's got glamorous names.

The problem with the another league format is that there's no real incentive in their domestic leagues

It Utd and Liverpool flexing in an attempt to scare the PL, and like it or not they have a lot of power, If the league lost Utd,Liverpool ,Chelsea and City then it becomes a weaker product and slowly the money would dry up with all the best players clambering to play in this new competition

It’s actually frightening for us given the money we are about to plough into a new stadium

City and Chelsea are made out play-do.
