Eva Carneiro leaves Chelsea

I think you are missing the point I am making. I'm not saying Mourinho is "right" from a medical or ethical stand-point. I'm saying she was wrong in how she behaved after the fact which has lead to her being removed. Mourinho doing this publicly is his way of saying I'm the boss so pack your bags.

It's not the first time he has done it with a member of staff. Just the first time he has done it with a female member of staff.

So you're saying Mourinho had already decided to demote her for the incident, that she did absolutely nothing wrong by attending, at the referees request, before she'd had any time to respond to his public out burst which he said immediately after the game?

TBH that facebook response of hers was a bit crap, she should have called him a risible Lusitanian ballbag.

I remember Souness making a big deal a couple of days after the fact that she was woman and the sight of Mourinho yelling at a woman and the rest of the Sky Sports panel agreeing.

It made it worse and the Munich doctor was also a long serving member of the club.

Without using Google do you know the other guy's name?
The physio, it is Fearne -Joe or John I think.

Carneiro is a long servering member of the club, her sex does raise the interest level of the tabloids but would be a story regardless.

No I'm not saying that at all. It's pretty obvious that there was other things that lead up to it, the actual event and how she reacted after the event that all lead to him demoting her and looking to get rid.

It would have been a footnote and let's not pretend otherwise which is my point. It would have been good if it was treated the same because in the end it won't be good for women coming after Eva Carneiro.

So you're saying a football manager raging at a medical professional for doing their job correctly is only news because she's a woman?

If so, LOL at you basically. The fact it was Carneiro simply amplified the tabloid coverage and public interest - that is all.

And that was only written after she'd been publicly humiliated and then suspended for simply doing her job right.
I think it came before and lead to the suspension. She should or did know what was going to happen. From that article.

"The messages of support to which she referred, essentially, ran along the lines of people urging her to stay strong against Mourinho’s bullying. For her to acknowledge them, in such a public way, went down predictably badly with Mourinho.

He demands total loyalty and privacy from his inner circle and it has long been clear at Chelsea that members of the backroom staff are to be seen and not heard."

Well the fact that we aren't even sure who the other guy is I would say yes it is only news to this magnitude because she's a woman.

I agree the facebook post was unwise but it still follows club guidelines on content.

But otherwise what exactly has she done that is wrong?

We have no knowledge of what went on behind the scenes so you are either basing your opinion on a) the facebook post alone b) that she treated Hazard at the request of both Hazard and the ref which is clearly her job c) speculating wildly.

So you think it was premeditated? Then he's an even bigger prick that I've ever gave him credit for.

You're forgetting her response was 3 days after the incident and the subsequential uproar that had nothing to do with her.
