The result was fine.

The “style”. It’s absolutely grim. Treating them like title contenders. Players lacking in backing pass and move skills. Full backs not crossing the halfway line.

Hoof to Dom who had barely anyone within 50 yards of him. They dominated and if we'd lost I don't think I'd have complained. Pickford saving Gordon's pen was our highlight. Don't understand why they took 6mins to look at Newcastle obvious penno yet 30 seconds to dismiss ours

I dont get to watch very often. The game was on NBC today so I watched. Newcastle dominated possession but really didn't create a lot. We defended well, but we depend on long balls to Dom far too much. He did well under the circumstances. We lose possession too easily, particularly Doucoure who can't seem to pass the ball to a Blue shirt. A decent result, all things considered. We have some winnable games coming up and if we get a couple of players back from injury, I think we will be OK.
