Can I just say Fellaini is the most overrated player around. He was rubbish tonight and couldn't trap a bag of cement let alone find a blue shirt with a pass. One swing of his big hoof and everyone is creaming. Complete highlights player. £30 million for him would be laughable. No club, surely, is that stupid.

lol!!

Played really well tonight. Jelavic, Pienaar, Jagielka, Baines were great; Osman my man of the match, he was outstanding. Hibbert and Gibson contributed well.

Stop embarrassing yourself lad. Just stop.

This must have been a kick in the teeth for all you "True Blue Supporters" who were expecting a 4-0 win for Arsenal:lol:

Apart from their goal and a couple of possible mistakes in our defence Arsenal were lucky to escape with a point, and the interview with Arsene the Whinger shows how relieved he was to get away with it :dodgy:

Whereas I don't understand evertonians not cheering.

Must be an age thing, if you lived through them winning everything every year while we stood like orphans peering in in the sweetshop window wishing we could just have one sweetie as they gorged and laughed you'd understand.

I've seen Liverpool win plenty of things in my lifetime, i simply care more about what other results do for us than that lot losing.

3 assists and 5 goals in 8 games. They must be some f**kin highlights.

Back from game
Positives:
Pienaar played well for once
Didn't lose.
Gibson is back
Howard didn't [Poor language removed] up too badly
Hibbert was boss

Negatives
Another slow start
Fellaini was knackered after 60 minutes
Oviedo dropped after playing well
Jelavic missing a sitter
Far too slow when counter attacking and general buildup
Taking Naismith off instead of putting him behind Jelavic/Not putting Vellios on, either would have probably had buried that teasing cross from Jelavic.

Gutted bout Baines. Thought pienaar was good tonight myself and Jelavic worked harder just cant finish or get back into position.

Thought Pienaar was poor in the final pass, as he usually is tbf..also, for the first time in his current drought, i thought jelly was pretty slow in thought and movement.

Wasn't one of his better games, but nevertheless, this post is ridiculous.

Came away from the match disappointed that we didn't beat Arsenal, one of our bogey teams. They now look average, partly because they are and partly because we've progressed. 12 months ago I'd have been happy with a draw against Wenger's boys. Oh, they were pretty enough and looked more comfortable on the ball than we were, but we looked more likely to score ... sometimes we were just trying to be too clever and should have kept it simple and kept the bloody ball.

Just watched the highlights on MOTD and have reversed my opinion on Jagielka who, at the match, I thought was at fault for their goal, but seeing the highlights he was just a tad unlucky. The highlights also showed that, despite Arsenals possession and pretty crab passing, we were more effective. Osman was better than Arteta, not something we said much when they were on the same team, but certainly true tonight. Well in Billinge Boy.

One day we're going to batter someone at Goodison. Chances are I'll have missed the train or been picked up by some Russian totty and decided a shag is better than watching the game. FFS Everton.

Decent enough game between two evenly matched teams. Lots of endeavour from us and unfortunately for John we looked a lot more organised defensively. Probably mainly down to Gibson coming back but Distin had a solid game too, so that's Heitinga gone then.

We are absolutely woeful in the final third though, if Baines is out and Mirallas is still on holiday I'm not sure how we'll do anything at the weekend.
