Listening to it now.

Mickey Quinn said " Pickford, a keeper who got his team relegated. Keane is a United reject who couldnt get a game in front of Brown and O'Shea. Klassen who was invisable against United in the final. Sandro looks like he had a massive paper round in Spain and could only score one goal for Barca "

Called us fans deluded the fat prick.

Feed your horses yer fat scruff.
Was all Pickford faults that he had to face 164 shots, not the midfield or the defence just Pickfords.

He hasn't got a clue who Sandro is. 1 goal in 17 sub app that probably totalled 8 mins and was told to "Give the ball to Messi"

He's in for a shock next year when Liverpool only just finish top 10

Lukaku spoke about having agreed to join a club and it wasn't United. He was going to Chelsea, only Chelsea didn't stump up as they were dicking around while Costas future was sorted out. They obviously thought they had Lukaku in the bag. Then you've stepped in and upset the apple cart. Of course bidding wars exist, there's been loads of examples of players on the cusp of joining one club and haggling over the fee, and then another coming in and beating their bid.

That makes sense but still in that hypothetical situation you envisioned no bidding war would take place.

Perhaps but rare for Everton to not get the price for a player they were aiming at - as the Fellaini and Stones transfers showed. Would be particularly unusual in this case as there was another interested buyer and he still had two years on his contract.

I agree ont his point. We wouldn't brief via senior sources aggressively £75m if it wasn't true. I expect thats the fee PLUS add ons which could reach 90m Zero chance of 90m fee being base.
