Both clubs fans make me laugh, both going on about how we are trying to shaft them, Chelsea with the Stones deal and Utd with this one.
They obviously don't remember when we got ripped off at the time for Lukaku. Chelsea held on and held on and asked us to pay more when West Ham come into play, apparently they were originally happy to accept £20mill. Everyone was lauding them over making a great profit on a average player who would never make it. Man U done the same with Schneiderlin, basically wouldn't compromise from their valuation, which was the same fee as they paid even though he wasn't wanted and didn't have the best seasons and we ended up having to match it (albeit made up in clauses).
Both done what was best for their club and knew how much we wanted both players, we are just doing the same with Rom (and previously Stones).
