Liverpool have Suarez... Even if you put ten men behind the ball a world class forward like that will create chances out of nothing. We need Deulofeu back as soon as possible. He has that type of capability.

Then we get about 1M for each spot, with more for CL. So really, CL is what it's about for us for the future. Problem is, we'll need a lot to compete there.

Isn't it much much higher this year with the new deal? Or does that start next year? I'm sure there was talk of bottom place getting more than city did for winning the league, so in theory finishing 4th should get us a LOT

a one off defeat mate but like I said them losing to hull and say sunderland and winning just one other small team, yet that equals the same points tally to us drawing our first 3 league games which is why even if we win just 1 of those 3 and draw the others we make ground on them. Its them games that determine not just the league but if you finish 4th or not

I could be wrong, but I could swear they did something stupid like trebled, and even the Premier League were shocked, because it was completely unanticipated

EDIT: after a brief bit of googling, it seems I'm mis-remembering. Value of overseas rights went from £1.437bn to £2.23bn, a rise of about 55%

Clearly the odds of it happening are astronomical, but imagine if we were top of the league at 4.55pm on 11th May...

What do we do then? I mean, do we all just top ourselves? Because realistically, it's not like life is going to get much better :P
