BK- he has gone missing as usual! or is just going to ignore it keep them both - then after the deadline day have his say - DM has gone down in my eyes as a credible manager if he was still here he would be wanting 40 million + for both of them he turned the SAF offer down last season! Remember Davy boy EFC players don't come cheap!

We shall reject it even they make a better bid. It is simply too late. If we sell our best players now it will affect us in every aspect. We have no time to find replacement with similar quality.

Great article on home page there Tuby -
We must only sell Felli and Baines at a price they are worth to us as stars - that is replacement value -
not at a price they are going to be worth for Moyes as squad players -
shame on Moyes for raiding his former home for their crown jewels when the transfer curtain closes - leaving them disorganized -
and giving his successor little chance of improving on his mediocre record as manager -
I wish we show Moyes a very big toffee !!!

The worry is that the closer it gets, the twitchire the players will get if they want out. I just hope as a club we have been professional enough to draw up a list of targets and even got the ball rolling with potential transfers.

I will have a mad fume also if we receive 40mill ish and don't spend it all, as that would mean that yet again the club will have a meagerly net spend for a summer window, whilst murmuring the words Champions league at press conferences.

Send some stealthy type people to old trafford and cut the power to the phones, fax, internet on deadline day and slash all management types vehicle tyres as well!

If it doesn't get done tomorrow which is unlikely then it will be a deadline day deal as it won't happen on a match day normally. We must surely have replacements lined up.

If it goes until the last day our target value will increase as clubs will know we have money and little time to negotiate.

I know the stats say that Baines created huge amounts of chances last season but we don't really have anyone to get on the end of them
Well true we have been woeful at finishing but have to say don't agree with the logic that we shouldn't worry about losing all the chances he creates because we can't finish them anyway ... it would still hurt to have less chances.

We already have a ready-made replacement in Oviedo, who has been impressive whenever I've seen him
He looked pretty poor defensively last night TBH. He's not useless, I could see him playing in the PL at some point, but he's still a massive step-down from Baines.

Beşiktaş have agreed terms with Manchester United defender Alexander Buttner according to the Black Eagle's vice-president Ahmet Nur Çebi.

"Buttner is our primary transfer target," Çebi said.

"We have agreed terms with the player, everything has been sorted. Manchester United have informed us that they would be prepared for Buttner to join us on a one-year loan."

The latest developments follow Slaven Bilic hinting that the Eagle's were on the verge of signing a left-back.

"Regarding our efforts to strengthen at left-back, we are very close to completing a transfer," Bilic said speaking at the pre-game press conference ahead of the Eagle's return leg Europa League tie against Tromso.

"If the transfer goes ahead it will be great, we have been working on it for four weeks."

Bilic has made it his priority to bolster the defence for the 2013-14 league campaign.

Beşiktaş recently signed centre-back Franco Pedro as well as Serdar Kurtuluş however, lack depth at left-back following the injury of İsmail Köybaşı.

The Eagle's have been playing Ersan Gülüm at left-back but lack a replacement.

The 24-year-old joined United on a €4 million move from Vitesse last season. Buttner made five Premier League appearances over the 2012-13 league campaign and struggled to settle after suffering homesickness.

That'll ramp up the speculation further.

I guess my logic is that he might be putting some great crosses into the box but the strikers we have aren't necessarily the type to get in front of their markers and prod home. They seem to prefer the ball played to their feet. I suppose you could compare it to Rory Delap putting throw ins into the box, but unless you have someone good in the air to win the headers it's a bit redundant.

It took Baines a long time to become a good defender. I think I'd rather that Bainsey went and experienced a couple of years at the very top rather than carrying on for us until his ability waned, during which time we'd have lost out on £15m and Oviedo would have left for regular football.

In the clip where he gave a fan a lift and he was non-committal about whether he was going to United I'd thought that it was because he didn't know whether he would be told he was going or not. Maybe he actually fancies it? I can't really blame him.

Fellaini and Baines need to understand that this club is not holding them back like Moyes said, Man u have not really offered the right value for them so its Man u fault these players have not had their move. Just hope our club can turn all offers down now, its to late to be selling our best players now, its bad enough selling one player but two.

The whole "holding them back" thing is obnoxious. If Moyes was all about furthering careers and taking some sort of moral high ground, why did he hold Rooney back? Same thing with the Lescott saga; he's created a nice double-standard for himself. Koff Moyes.
