I kind of feel how the pretty ugly woman must feel at the end of the night. You see the guy you have been looking at all night, who gave you the occasional bit of attention, wondering off, trying to get off with a whole host of other women. He keeps getting knocked back, until with about 15 minutes to go, when all else seems to have failed, he makes a play for you. He does it in a crass way, which means you say no, but he's back again 10 minutes later.

Moyes seems to be that guy. We are the option he is going for when all his other transfer avenues have failed. Whether it be Ronaldo, Fabregas, Thiago, Falcao. He has the same arrogance, that even at the last minute, we will march to the beat of his drum. The sad thing is, you can see Kenwright caving in to him, and selling for about the market rate, but well below what he should be paying for this late stage.

I think the peevishness of Moyes, was because we had the temerity to say no to him.

I wasn't panicking at this at first. Now I'm sh*tting myself.

Just wish we had a chairman who had the balls to just come out and say "He's not for sale at any price" (Baines.) If we don't have to sell, why do we sell our best asset in the team? I'm not going to sleep easy coming up to the end of this transfer one bit. I also leave for holiday the day the transfer window closes. I'm praying I'm not going to be going on holiday in a mood.

Come on davek, why would Kenwright deliberately damage something he wants to make a profit form?
He's all about paying down debt and that makes his short termism dangerous. As far as those two players are concerned he'll take the cash now rather than waiting to see how keeping hold of them will benefit the club and if we can squeeze out more elsewhere or in a new transfer window.

Ha can see where your coming from-seriously though I really cant see that happening this time if we sell arguably our two best players and dont replace them/invest the income then serious questions will be asked about the people in charge. For me if it happens and they go there will be replacements straight in probably all getting sorted if not already. hopefully

Serious questions? It'll cause a war ha.

I can see McCarthy and Barry (loan) being lined up already but as for a left back replacement and a new striker then I'm at a loss.

I agree.

However, think back to the beginning of summer; Thiago was their Plan A, but he turned them down. Fabregas was Plan B. Now they're desperate and will bid even higher if we can hold out.

They seem to want a top-class, no-risk midfielder but they're not prepared to spend more than about £25m.

Fellaini stays

I was wondering tonight as he left the pitch did he look like a player saying his last goodbyes?

I'm sure we all want the best for EFC and know in our hearts that 30 million may solve our biggest issue.. No striker.. but I thunk we saw that felli and barkley and maybe duef look like a fab mid three.. So that mystery striker, mirrales and pienaar would feed off well.. The TV money is great so we should hold on to felli through Xmas when his price will be higher cos moyes will be desperate by then cos he will have f'd up big style by then and the media will be sir Alex for director of football and what's Martin o neill doing now.. Azzuri your a knob.. So stay true to keeping the two boys and I think Moses on loan and a centre mid would be great

Cant see him leaving. We wont do business with United now - at least i hope not. Tapped up our manager and now tapping up our players. Hope we report the ****ers and get a nice big compo deal personally.
