The figure of 36, 40, 45... it's not the main point for me. The concern for me is we could be selling 2 of our most influential players and have no replacements lined up of a similar quality.

Go figure.

A bit of realism is needed here boys. 2 points.

1. There is a food chain and Manure are higher up the food chain then us because they have the moolah.

2. The moment Moyes went to OT it became obvious there would be a raid for the assets he left here...never mind the choreographed sickly sweet talk of respect and Everton being " a great club" the fact is we became a feeder club in his eyes the moment he walked out the door and I don't blame him. That is the brutal logic of the game.

What Kenwright should be doing is what Levy did....screw every last cent out of them. 50 to 60 million of go away.

Ok, lazy journal said Fellaini wants to leave now. Who wants to leave tomorrow? Barkley? They just can't keep ther mouths shut.

I think it has to be said from the outside looking in - i have a hell of a lot of respect for Baines and Fellaini in all of this, other players here in the past, and at other clubs the likes of Bale and Cabaye have agitated, threw their toys out of the pram after bids to join CL clubs to push moves - leaving their respective clubs with their pants down.

Really, really have a lot of respect for both - very classy, not that i want it, but if they do move ill have nothing but good things to say about both.

Actually no it is not the brutal logic of the game. Had Kenwright treated Moyes with the respect he deserved i.e. none, and fired him prior to his taking up the position at Manure we wouldnt be in this position now - he would have then only approached us with serious offers for the pair, or better still, made no offer at all.

Kenwrong had the chance to damage Moyes career in the same way he sabotaged our clubs prospects - he missed it. Thats the only brutal logic as far as I can see.

No need to stoop to that level.

Ordinarily I would say yes, but if they knew an acceptable offer was on the table and the club was resisting they would pull a Bale. IMO its all down to the numbers.

So far all parties (bar Man Utd) realise the offer on the table is a joke.
