Ordinarily I would say yes, but if they knew an acceptable offer was on the table and the club was resisting they would pull a Bale. IMO its all down to the numbers.

So far all parties (bar Man Utd) realise the offer on the table is a joke.

Persoanlly i think Utds low offers, were to tease the players in the hope they would agitate for move mate - like i say fair play to both.

I think it has to be said from the outside looking in - i have a hell of a lot of respect for Baines and Fellaini in all of this, other players here in the past, and at other clubs the likes of Bale and Cabaye have agitated, threw their toys out of the pram after bids to join CL clubs to push moves - leaving their respective clubs with their pants down.

Really, really have a lot of respect for both - very classy, not that i want it, but if they do move ill have nothing but good things to say about both.

Moyes on the other hand I have completely and utterly lost all respect for!

Reading Martinez comments regarding the players and their position in this. Very clever, very sincere and totally understanding of a top players position.

May go some way to explaining why the players are so far fully committed still despite being understandably keen to move.

Imagine Moyes was still here. Be another Lescott sulk situation and acceptance of a low ball figure.

Martinez must know whether the players want to go or not and looking at it both ways we are actually doing it correct for once. If they want to go we are holding out for a much money as possible and if they do not want to go we are standing strong no matter how much they are throwing at us.

The one thing that will annoy me is if Martinez sells them monday and then states he did not have enough time to get the players he wants with the right 'DNA'. This is going on all summer and there was always a good chance that something was going to happen so he should have some players lined up to move on quickly if it does happen.

Just don't sell them. It's too late.

Don't point the finger at Martinez, he has nothing to do with it anymore, he has walked away from it. Read his comments in the Gaurdian article, its all in Bill's capable hands now.

How can you put those two things in the same sentence?!

If informal talks with McCarthy have already taken place then that means Fellaini is off

Im a little more optimistic about Baines, I think he'll stay. Dont think Bill will want to face a fan backlash by selling both

Martinez has to make the point to Kenwright (hope he will). He is the manager. We can't lose our 2 star players at this stage of the transfer window.

I wouldn't even sell for £50m this late in the window...
At least north of £45m for me.

McCarthy and Barry to replace Felli.

Sign a new LB to cover Oviedo (who I think willl be great for us).

That maybe leaves £20-25m for a top striker.
