Or equally, we would have gone bust , with only memories left. Greggs plan was all about Gregg, nothing else. But thats a different debate !! I'm just saying that there are lots of people around, particularly in show business, who can testify as to how tough it is to deal with BK. On the other hand, a senior exec at One Nation(Palce Manc, Opera House, Empire(?), told me a few years ago that BK had almost single handed saved provinial live theatre in the UK.Bills weakness with regard to football is that he loves it.

If Fellaini and Baines are sold for merely £40m, would you say Kenwright is a tough negotiator?

Mirallas isn't really a creative player - he's boss, don't get me wrong, but not really in a "creative", lay things on for others sort of way. Barkley and Deulofeu are still relatively unknown quantities at this stage to be fair.

As for making a lot of chances, that's kinda debatable to be honest. We're having a lot of shots, yes, but not that many are "clear cut" goalscoring chances that we really SHOULD be scoring from.

Not saying we don't need a new striker, but we BADLY need some top notch creativity in the middle of the park.
Wow - we are so far apart in our opinions of those three players it's untrue.

I am really excited by the creativity of those three. All three are the kind who can break down systems by skinning someone: this alone creates opportuniites for others. I can't think of another team in the league who have 3 such players.

As for top notch creativity - just watch Barkley go this season, he is going to be Young Player of the Year and pushing for a seat on the plane to Brazil.

Moyes comments the other day that pissed everyone off were along the lines of
"Roberto doesn't know how it works at Everton, I do"

Probably what he was referring too.

The player always gets sold, there has to be a fall guy, it must not be Bill.

I'm expecting the " He was on the phone crying " speech to come out on Tuesday. It will be like Arteta again, everyone always says he asked to leave but he never put a transfer request in though. When he did speak about leaving, he said it was best for the club.

But people played him for the villain, Moyes is the ultimate bad guy this transfer window, but for me the buck should be at Kenwrights feet.

and probably in the CL - Lord Granchester was behind Gregg all the way...he cant stand BK hence why he doesnt put a penny in while BK takes the glory.

...and paying 'rent' on a stadium for little return would get us into the CL,how? Does having a new stadium entitle you to loads of money to buy players? But as I say, different discussion, quite prepared to go through the whole KD argument on another thread, but this is the Baines/Fellaini thread

:) A bit dramatic and that suits Kenwright's "background".

Nonsense - you have an ex-manager speaking to national press, accusing small time Everton of holding two players back whilst bidding an absolute pittance for their service.

None of that is Kenwrights doing.

I think you are right on that, no denying Bill with his feelings for Everton.

I've no doubt that Gregg was in it for himself, he would have got the Stadium and sold us off to any Tom, [Poor language removed] and Harry to make a decent profit for himself. But, we have got rid of Gregg to replace him with Earl who no doubt saw the cash signs with the Kirkby project.

We got rid of one cash whore, for an even worst one.

Is that "legal" to talk about other club's players? I know even we report this to FA they won't give a damn, we ain't Sky4.

£50M for the pair! Thats more like it BK...has he grown some b0llocks over the summer?

Ill show me ar5e if we get £50M though.

Think Fellaini will go for circa £25 and Baines will stay tbh

They bid £40mill and we should consider it, £50mil would be great and considering what Bale is going for, is not outrageous. It's the time left to replace them that is bothering me now as it looks inevitable at least one is going.

Moyes is playing us like a piano, he knows how our club operates better than all of us. Moyes, is the ultimate corporate man and acting like it with no regards to us anymore.

When he accepted the job, Kenwright should have had security escort him off the premises from the off. Instead, he let him stay around the players and thought they were mates. Was it Kenwright who said that Moyes had agreed not to go after Baines and Fellaini as well??

Some of our fans did say that he should be removed away from our first team right away, a lot us thought Moyes would respect us. Just shows this business is ruthless, I hope we show how ruthless we are when he comes back with Man u, if he hadn't been sacked by then.
