I know but honestly, I know you are a big Fellaini fan , they probably arent worth much more than 45 all told. I will never understand why Moyes hasnt gone for Fellaini by himself, maybe he feels the need to have a bit of purchase in the dressing room.

£45m is probably about the right price for them, but tbh we should make Utd pay a premium for acting like c***s with their lowball bids, and not getting serious until the last 4 days of the window.

I think that would be a good price for them as players, but at this point in the window, I don't think we'd see the benefit to attaining that price level, as we'd be forced into pissing it away on over priced replacements.

Martinez's latest comments suggest he's resigned to losing them and it's only a matter of waiting for United to bid a fee Kenwright finds acceptable. I think they'll go for 38-39m

Moyes comments the other day that pissed everyone off were along the lines of
"Roberto doesn't know how it works at Everton, I do"

Probably what he was referring too.

The player always gets sold, there has to be a fall guy, it must not be Bill.

Do you remember when Mark Hughes made a comment like "We're speaking to the people who make these decisions" during the Lescott saga, completely undermining Moyes' position. This is exactly what Moyes is done to Martinez. I have lost all respect for Moyes over this.

Come Monday night, if we lose both Fellaini and Baines, that ginger prick will have completely ****ed us over. If he really wanted these players, this business could and should have been done weeks ago.

Its seems that Bill and Moyes relationship is still special and he causing rifts in their relationship.

You've read that wrong in my opinion, to me he's intimating that out of respect for their long standing relationship, he's not going to continue with a tit for tat, public slanging match & he's just going to leave it to Bill.

Reports are of a 38m bid being rejected.

45m and the 2 are gone and to be honest thats alot of cash to us we could spend that and improve our squad massively

I dont want either of them to go but that is the price for me.

But if its a deadline day last minute job like that tosser always does id rather them stay regardless of the offer.

What happened to when managers used to say it's too late for us to get in a replacement. Replacing Fellaini with McCarthy isn't a good deal. £15m for him is a catastrophic deal, we simply cannot afford to get deals like that wrong. Whelan must be laughing his head off, he said the same rhetoric about Martinez that he did about Jewell and Bruce: he's a salesman, and they'll know we have Fellaini money to spend and act accordingly with riduculous demands. McCarthy is worth about £7m, £15m is scandalous. I don't think he is the type of midfielder we need.
