wonder how this would stand up, as there is numourous diffrent types of everton crests, they could copyright the current one used by the club, but any others would be a minefield, as people who designed them could say the club are stealing there idea ect and counter sue the club

That's true actually, they can't copyright other people's designs.
If they are clearly drawn up by someone and produced solely themselves with no obvious copying then Everton can't do anything.

It's ridiculous though, sites like these are full of people who are actually supporting and spending money on Everton, and at the minute, they really need to keep that so you'd think they'd actually support sites like this!

Especially if there isn't the word "Everton" on it then they can't prove that it's anything to do with the club - could just be coincidence!

I'm actually going to discuss this with my sister, she's a Graphic Designer, she should know the ins and outs.
