Dele will score 4 goals. VDB will be steady if unspectacular.
I have concerns about what impact Alli has on Gray's game.
In my minds eye I see Gray being crowded out of this team by the use of Alli.

Think he will have a bigger impact on Richarlison who will be forced out wide again.I have concerns about what impact Alli has on Gray's game.

Yes, I agree.Think he will have a bigger impact on Richarlison who will be forced out wide again.
The concern will be that there will be backlash from the wider fanbase as we won't be signing 'big names'Landscapes massively changed though.
Can't think of a championship player a team has bought cheap to turn out really good. They're going for £20-30mill a pop.
Same goes for abroad. If you look at Moyes at West Ham. Bowen, Soucek, Benrahma all £20mill each. Picked up Zouma and Vlasic for around £30mill each. So even he's having to spend.
Although the RS have pinched Fulham's academy products - even trying to get a 19 year old Carvalho for £10mill who's contract runs out end of the season anyway.
Wishful thinking but I think those buys are very few now. Yes Gray was £1.5mill for example but those types of deals aren't out there regularly.
I'd say literally the exact opposite. The fans are tired of chasing names, just look at the reaction to the Alli signing in that thread for confirmation. Even if they weren't, everyone loves a bargain (people talk about Cahill and Coleman in the context of their fees all the time, even the best part of 20 years later in Cahill's case). Also Brereton Diaz is a really bad example, there's no way people would turn their nose up at the Championship top scorer, only 22, and a regular international. The concern will be that there will be backlash from the wider fanbase as we won't be signing 'big names'
Ben Brereton is out of contract in the summer. He'd be a great fit for us as support/back up, or dare I say a replacement for, DCL.
Because he's a free from Blackburn he'd be written off before he even kicked a ball.
The idea is great, but we don't tend to give chances and/or the time needed to these type of players

I don't agree, they're very different players. I can see Ali picking up rebounds from Gray's long shots or being in that position just outside the 6 yard box when he gets to the byline, but I don't see them getting in each other's way.I have concerns about what impact Alli has on Gray's game.

Now this I agree with.Yes, I agree.
IMO we should have been chasing hard all yesterday fior a CB not another attacker.

The irony that three of the five players Everton signed this month, were targets drummed up by Brands and his recruitment team, will not be lost on anyone connected with the Blues.
Not bad going into the pivotal second half season for us. Left out the tosh like Begovic and Rondon just because I don't want to read their names.

The only thing I’d swap here is Alli who I see as more in Doucs role than VDBs (with Gomes going the other way).
