Have to agree 100per cent, Coleman has been are best right back since Gary Stevens. He is now past his best but gives everything in every game, he has been advocating for his replacement for years. He deserves alot more praise than he gets on here. You compared him to Hibbert, mate.
Hibbert got zero goals and ten assist in his entire Everton premiership career
Coleman got 26 goals and 32 assists
He was exceptional in his pomp, people just chose to forget that for some reason
I've seen them and Tavernier. And if you think that clown up there takes their place you must be on the Buckfast and fried Mars Bar diet.Have you seen the state of our right backs?

We needed points and Chelsea are extremely unlikely to challenge City. We need to worry about our own performance.Yeah. Wasted that was too. They aren't going to stop Liverpool winning the title. I apologise for that. Donating 6 points to City to avoid that nightmare though should be supported by every Evertonian. Strange to me if they didn't feel that way.
I’m not blinkered because he cost 60k. His price is irrelevant. He’s always been technically average.
So overrated by our fans it’s ridiculous

You are totally wrong in your statement Dave, I have already said that I think Benitez signing Patterson would give a glimmer of hope that there was a chance for him to turn things round. It means he's made a mistake and I'll call him out on it ewhen proven to be so.
You see, that's what logical people do...unlike you who seem to take up a position and never let the facts change it.
My support is conditional; your opposition is unconditional.

Mate, he got 26 goals and 32 assists by being a good RB, had we not kept playing him beyond his time, his game per goal assist ratio figures would be very good.Bang on. Two of the best balls he ever put in for us where in one of his first showings when he came on against Spurs. His delivery hasn’t got much better.
In his prime he had ridiculous acceleration which took people by surprise. He’d look second favourite for a ball which meant defenders committed against him and then all of a sudden he’d be past them. You’re right though, he’d then just smash it as hard as possible, or float it over the area.
Now that his pace has gone his lack of technique is being shown up all the time and he’s no longer PL standard.
But neither were, Coleman was by far the most succecsful RB though. PFA RB of the year, I doubt Hibbert got in the top tenIn fairness though Hibbert forgot more about defending than Coleman has ever known. The thought of Coleman at centreback would be horrifying but Hibbert did it easily at times.
They’re just completely different players. If Hibbert had been a foot taller he’d have been a centreback, and if Coleman could have crossed a ball he’d probably have been a winger.
Hibbert could be that defender because he completely avoided leaving his own half.In fairness though Hibbert forgot more about defending than Coleman has ever known. The thought of Coleman at centreback would be horrifying but Hibbert did it easily at times.
