Everton January 2025 Transfer Thread

Let’s see where we are in September Dave, if there’s no change then I’ll be with you but right now the next 12 weeks is about survival and the bigger picture.

No amount of incoherent rants on here is going to change the fact that we are significantly more stable than we were in December with Mosh and Dyche in charge whilst we were haemorrhaging millions to parasitical groups like R&M.
I agree we're more stable: by virtue of the fact that Moyes has got 3 wins on the bounce...

Yes, it really really is, grown men screaming and bashing the keyboard, really shows the cry babies at times like this.

People need to grow up, and look beneath the covers a little.

Who said we need 3 in ????? Nobody, certain journos and self appointed podcast super bloos, whipping people into it all, its a load of rubbish.

Moyes said depending on available targets and money, we would like ins.

Who has really improved with this window ?? City aside ??

Not 1 of these players gone to other teams would have improved us, even Alcaraz will have to wait for his chance.

Moyes has in 2 weeks improved every player. We are looking up now, and have players coming back from injury.

Pad the squad with crap, and it becomes bloated and then a waste of money.
Woah,, chill

No one is screaming or bashing their keyboard.#

Everyone on here, and I mean everyone (apart from you it would seem) was suggesting we need at least 3 in before this window - that was before we lost 3 main players.

No biggie, we just go with one average striker for the next month and still no pace.

Nope.

I'm looking for stability.

If you feel stable with what has all the hallmarks of a manager hired to be here until the summer and owners who dont even acknowledge they own the club and haven't visited the place yet, then that's fine.

I dont.

I think it's becoming VERY noticeable to Everton supporters that there's no hands on governance of this football club and it's beginning to grate...especially when a window has just gone with almost zero additions to a squad that's screaming out for them.
I agree the Texans have yet to show much to excite us other than a first class managerial change, summer will be real time to judge their commitment to transfers.

I do not believe for a second that there was not one forward available on loan that would be an alternative option to Ndiaye should Beto continue his usual form.

It is no biggie just a bit amateur on our behalf.
The fact a fair few clubs needed a striker and most didn't get one in suggests maybe the quality wasn't really out there available?

You must have missed the whole world outside this forum mate, as social media is full of blues crying.

Tell Moyes he is wrong then, and he failed you.

I’m happy we have not panicked and signed Danny Ings or a Rondon type.

And there’s no talk of administration, and our long term debts are structured better which will enable us to be more competitive in player recruitment long term.

But what do these billionaire, second hand car salesmen know? I bet they could learn a thing or two off you in how to invest billions into football clubs.

We dont know, because we never hear from them much less see any of them.

Yeah mate that's what a DOF should be but it's not here

We've had 3 now with the job title ''director of football'' with the job role of ''head of recruitment''

At least that's what it seems like, obvs don't know what goes on behind the scenes

Not sure about that, I don't see one player in this squad we bought who I don't believe was a Thelwell decision.

TFG have got this, weve just had a Gung-ho owner who put the club in serious trouble.

Of course we would of all liked another signing or 2.
By making the right the decision by volleying Dyche and getting Moyes in has bought them a lot of breathing space and any knee jerk signings.

Thelwells replacement should be in the process now as there is no way he is the man to take us forward.

This summer is going to be very eventful and one we can finally have some optimism.
Gone are the days of treading water, get these big decisions right in the summer and the skys the limit.

This club has all but just existed for far too long, now is the time to get back to the big table.
