I’m as keen for players to come in as anyone …. however I do think there’s longer left in the window than people probably feel there is, with it being open until the 3rd February, instead of the usual 31st deadline.

Maybe @Saint Domingo will correct me but I think the maximum number of points for 4 games, with draws as the only positive outcome, is 4, so I believe you are correct. 6 draws is as good as two wins though, so that's really what we should have been aiming for.

Because any other team would have cancelled the loan deal, as we have a player here now who can't and won't play for the rest of the season, so why don't they support the manager and give him the tools to work with ie another loan spot and pay this one off.

when Newcastle owners came in and they were down the bottom of the league they made a couple of signings to help them climb the table, these guys have been in mid Dec we are now in last 7 days of the transfer window and zilch from them ????

We should never have sacked Big Joe Royle. Newcastle or not.

Its a sackable offense for me if Thelwell didnt have an ‘injury clause’ in that loan contract. I dont know, but it looks like he didnt ( with a known sick note like Broja)….

Theres Villa’s recruitment. Several top quality deals already done.
Then theres Everton and Telliwell. No deals and stuck with a croc because Thelltit forgot to put an injury clause in the loan deal for Broja.
Contrast and compare.

Thelwell needs to be sacked. I mean thats negligence, everything about the Broja signing.

I really do think we're going to end up with some dross like that tbh. Moyes wanting experience in the British leagues and leaving it last minute with a small budget.
