Yobo, Li Tie, Pienaar, Arteta, Mirallas, McFadden, Bilyaletdinov, Jelavic, Heitinga, Valente, Drenthe, Coleman, Fellaini, Donovan, Naismith all came from outside of English football and went straight into the first team. That’s not including the handful of flops that he spent money on like Van der Meyde and Kroldrup. At West Ham he also brought in loads of overseas players, it’s lazy rubbish.

I'll bite though - we need to make sure the squad keeps us up - with Doucoure, Young, Harrison, Keane, DCL, Gana (?), Beto, Broja, Coleman out the door in the summer - there probably is room for a solid mid-table PL pro or two.

I don't know how much PSR is going to allow at this point - can we really throw 20m at a prospect as well this window ? I hope so.

He did say in the last presser that it's something you have to consider with signings. Specifically said it regarding Nuamah.

How likely is it 4 of your centre forwards get injured?

Then Young can play in that position. We currently have just Beto available as a striker . I just can't understand how you think not signing a striker isn't a priority
