Murmors that the french clubs are in the mud after the collapse of their tv deal. We could get some top talent for cheap as they're desperate for money to stay afloat.
Can confirm. He's in the Spa with DuncanMax Aarons in Formby hall apparently.
big disagree about Alli: he lacks pace and has seen his best days. If Mourinho wants him out there must be
good reasons.
This team does not want slowish, older players like Khedira but dynamic, fast, skillful players with lots
of potential.

The problem with having someone like Ali, is the position he plays, which is a basically as a 2nd striker. That’s when he’s been at his best and scoring goals, when he’s holding Kane’s hand.Alli is 24. His best days could be ahead of him. He is also quite athletic and quick, especially when comapred to Isco.
As for the 2nd point, yes I agree, but they cost a lot of money. So sometimes you make compromises.
Welcome back Gana!

Maybe José doesn’t want someone in that position. And like we’ve seen with England, when you try and play him deeper, he can’t do it, well not at that level anyway.
So playing him virtually next to DCL, will put more pressure on James. And definitely on Richarlison who all of a sudden will be become a left midfielder.
The balance isn’t quite right in midfield at the moment, but Ali definitely won’t help that.
It really is just that. We made great present focused signings, not only in their impact on the pitch but collectively for a reasonable cost. Maybe subsequent moves for in their prime stars can be afforded if the value is undeniable again. That said even if they are cheap, such expenditures aren't going to be recouped as the case with the likes of James, Allan in 3 plus years time. They, among others are providing a raise in performance and cushion to not hastily patch holes expensively. But IMO the team cannot abuse that with continuing the same approach in subsequent deals. We have to make signings that will aid in longterm sustainability with likely appreciating assets, especially when a starting 11 is fairly convincing. If that's ignored, coming sell ons will be patched in the same window for likely not the same quality, FFP will become an issue and or we will be left with a disfigured nucleus post Carlo. No to Khedira from me, way too old.
