Everton January transfer window 2021

It definitely Is of pressing need, maybe not in January, but the summer. Kenny isn’t good enough and Coleman is 32, past his best and picking up niggling injuries every few weeks.

While it’s great having someone like holgate who can fill in. In an injury crisis. But we need a Digne level player down the right. Yes it’s great we’ve played 4cb’s and been hard the breakdown the last few games, but long term that won’t get us challenging for trophies or near the top of the table.

I suspect that sorting out right back position will be a summer endeavour, unless there is someone available that we just can’t refuse. We have struggled through without Coleman and Kenny, but they are both available now.
I do feel that CF is where we do need some backup. DCL hasn’t missed any games yet, and I think there are games where we could have done with additional attacking threat

In my opinion Khedira is nothing like Gbamin. If fit, Gbamin is a young box to box midfielder who in the best of all worlds might allow the team to go 4-2-4 alongside Doucoure. Khedira is a static distributor looking for a Walcott i.e big pension boost. I would hold fire on getting another midfielder until the Gbamin 'can he, can't he' question is answered.

I would also stand fire on the full back question because Godfrey can do a great job on either side and his height, speed and enthusiasm make the team stronger.

However, I would like to upgrade Iwobi who has done recently but is not good enough in the final part of the pitch. Such a player might also stand in for Richarlison, if required.
He is a DM who can also play CB ,not a box to box midfielder

I can see the merits of a first team add with europe in such play, but my biggest hopes for January is buying value young assets who might not be playable initially but assures some cover in future sell ons and aides in profit transfers, let alone squad depth. Some might see this as the window to assure with another present value contributor. With the current injuries and form, I am fairly convinced we can sustain. Such being the case I would look at this as a chance in just strengthening the competence of our future business and a likely big coming summer.

Kenny has been available for ages and
Not even made the bench. He’s is now because of injuries and 9 subs

Wait till bruno's enthusiasm drops off after couple more months under Ole. I mean, united are playing HORRIBLE. I've no idea how they're racking up points. I mean, pens after final whistle do help, but still...

No they're not. Real, Milan, Liverpool, Barcelona, Bayern are top 5 without any doubt for me.

Think there's too much hype around united and Fergie. While the domestic record is great, 2 CLs in almost 30 years at United is kinda not that big of an achievement given the talent he had at his disposal.
Barca ,Real and United are the 3 biggest clubs in the world
The scum are not even the biggest club in Liverpool

Top 15: These are the most valuable football brands in 2020 - Toni Kroos will be there
  • Real Madrid. Company value: 3.478 billion euros. ...
  • Manchester United. Company value: 3.342 billion euros. ...
  • FC Barcelona. ...
  • FC Bayern. ...

France is fecked, eh? Chuck everything for Aouar and Camavinga. Come on Uncle Uzzy, you've made billions from this COVID stuff, lets go!

Aouar would be the upgrade on Gomes/Sigurdsson.

But Camavinga would not only add to our u21 group but could become world class.

Not sure if Ancelotti would go for 18 year olds for chunky money though.

Another instance of this government's actions backfiring -- adding warnings of another mutation of the virus so as to add weight to its latest restrictions, only to find that not only have they scared our own population, they have scared other countries too, in this case resulting in us being locked out of other countries.

The government is not responsible for this variant spreading, it is people travelling, ignoring lockdown and carrying it with them and not realising. That is where the blame lies.

Wouldnt mind us getting Khedira on a short term deal 1 year deal, gives us a cdm and could help push allan at cm give bim more freedom to chase the ball. Then hopefully bring in another cf to cover dcl

Im no fan of siggurdsson and he definitely hasn’t justified the price tag and I wanted him gone last summer. I think Ali is better, it was more of where he plays.

I’d love us to sign Ali for 40mil and he became a brilliant player for us and scoring 10 goals a season from
The 10 position especially when he was touted as a 100mil pound player 2 years ago.

Not 40 mill, no way. Plus Alli will want a big pay packet.

Which is the sensible thing to do, there is talk of nobody getting flights until they have a negative test, bit like the football, males sense.
This window wont be as big as previous ones as a result of the virus, including lack of ££££ income.
