Very fair question! I mean Barcelona looked at him.

I don't know who all of the above have at fullback. Maybe a lot of teams, in a difficult window for spending were put off by how he got on last season, particularly the end. In a way though, Godfrey has sort of disproven that a bit.

For us, we had other priorities. I think we hoped Coleman would stay fit which was a mistake. Where we to know Ancelotti would not use Kenny as a back up, he could have been a useful signing for us.

Never been a fan and every time I seen someone mention he name, I’d just say the last thing we need is another midget that doesn’t score goals.

Give me pace, power and goals please.

Sorry I was taking about Buendia, I like Aarons. But not a fan of Buendia. Palace bought the lad from QPR.

The thing is he's good at all the things that people wanted Bernard to be good at. He dictates the play, beats people off the dribble, creates big chances and gets the ball forward tons. So it wouldn't be having another Bernard because he brings a bunch of stuff Bernard doesn't.

On Buendia, I think he was a bit lightweight. He looks to have added goals to his game this season and been more central to what they've done. He did also have an awful end to the season.

I think he's 6 goals and 6 assists in 16 this season is very good.

So where does he play in Carlo’s team. Or Are we buying him as cover?

I just don’t won’t to go back to the days of Osman & pienaar on the wings, yes very good players, but up against the best in the league they would hardly lay a glove on them, because they were small, no pace and easily bullied

It’s a massive drop off though. Top of the championship to a team chasing top 6 in the premier league

If James is playing in the center he fits on the right.

We need cover though do we not? I mean James is struggling to stay fit and Carlo quite literally trusts no one on our bench at the minute.

Plus James isn't going to last forever and Buendia would be coming into his prime at the same time James might be finishing his time at the top. We should try our best to have replacements for James and Allan before we desperately need them.

I don’t think anyone can say Buendia is lightweight. I would say he is an industrious playmaker.
