Your logic here mate is the exact logic used - wrongly, and it was wrongly defended - at the end of the summer window. It immediately proved a stupid decision when Richarlison got suspended.

Well the journalists involved, say we have tried to do a deal and bidded. It's guess work, but it's not unreasonable to state it's on pretty good authority we have attempted to buy 2.

Well, I just had a look through Fabs twitter, cos I'm sad like that, from him first mentioning certain deals, in some cases, they take 3 weeks or so before they become Here we go.

Come on, you know how transfers work, none are completed quickly.
