No they don't. On the other hand, how many other teams are so short on options up front? What other teams are letting players go to rely solely on one striker?

However you want to polish it up, to have one recognised forward is simply not good enough for a PL club let alone a club that is aspiring to challenge etc.

Look at how Spurs are doing, Kane out for some time now, who else have they Delli out of favour, Bale not succeeding. They are not chasing signings.

But then if DCL gets injured again, or Richy, we don’t have a recognised striker.

If Richy goes up front, then his position is weakened and Gordon or Bernard are rumoured to be going out too.

to let 3 strikers and Bernard go out on loan and leave yourself short would be classed as extremely negligent.

I agree, it's a disaster letting Kean go at the start of the season as he would've been the ideal back-up to DCL.
Gordon needs to stay IMO but Bernard's time at EFC is UP.
If we don't sign a striker I think we can safely assume the club has accepted mid-table mediocrity this season and going to go for it in the summer in terms of transfers.

Yes. Willian Jose would have probably been a very adequate rotation option for Dom.

He isn't a prolific goal scorer(scored over 10 league goals a season consistently in Spain) but he is good in the air which suits how we like to play with Dom.

Never mind a header or two we want some one who can use his feet.

Well, they still have Son, Vinicius and to some extent Moura. That's before you mention the above names and eventually Kane will be back.

We have an isolate DCL, an out of form Richarlison and then you're down to Iwobi with less than twenty career goals. Any injuries and we're without any goals.

If you think their situation is comparable with our own, well you either need to lay off the sauce or you're going full out for WUM of the month.

tbf mate they have a wealth of options to play the top 3 positions. They've got Son, Viniscus, Lamela, Berjwin, Moura, Bale and Alli who doesn't even make the squad. Including Kane that's 8 options.

Missed a trick?

Well simple answer is Richie get you're finger out. But come on Phil it is is more than just about one position. It is about the whole team being fir and playing together. Leave out Coleman, Siggy, Davies. Stick to B4 of Holgate, Keane, Mina and Godfrey. Iwobi with Holagte behind him will be much better. In the middle not long now Allan back until then choose between Doucoure and Gomes. Use Digne in middle with Hamez and then DCl and Rchie up front.
