Everton, our summer transfers and short term cost control regulations

@The Esk if we sold Stones for £45 million for example, would that cash dissappear due to balancing the increase in wages or would we still have that money to spend?

@The Esk

What penalties now apply for breaching FFP? (I assume that is what the STCC regs effectively are?). Is it still a fine, which a rich club has the ability to pay, which has always seemed a bit daft to me.

Could we do a short-term naming rights of Goodison to boost the non-broadcasting revenue?

Maybe that's why it's getting done up ?

Financial penalties or ultimately points deduction.

Yes we could do a short term naming rights deal on Goodison to help boost non broadcasting revenues.

Are the financial penalties known in advance? Are they tapered to reflect the degree of the non-compliance, from small to large penalties? Or could they go straight to a points deduction? Maybe the points deduction would be for a second offence.

No mate they're arbitrary and decided by the PL.

In theory yes, but any punishment is open to appeal.

We're not there yet though hahaha

Still seems to be, you are a high spending club and break the rules, so the rich club gets fined, which they can easily afford. All seems rather pointless.

You know they have them player sponsorships? Is there anything stopping one of Moshiri's mates sponsoring Ross for millions?

It's like ambrosia seeing the big guns of the forum acknowledge the importance of FFP and so forth.

Bans from European competition and the revenue that go with them.

In Netherlands FC twente

Banned for three years from Europe.

I'd say Everton will be pragmatic. Steady incline of increased commercial revenues and player sales where applicable.

Remember. Infrastructure is entirely excluded from calculations.

We need to look at our books in two season increments. For wages.
