I would go as far to say that Ledson was as good as Martin O'Neil was when he pulled on a U's shirt all those years ago.
He looked absolute class although I agree he seemed to tire in the second half but who could blame him he battled and hassled for everything.
There will be a day in the future when we can all say we saw England's new star play in a U's shirt

Ledson looks quality. Clearly a level above. Towards the end of the game he tried a bit hard, and tried to do too much with his passing, but he looks a proper talent. I like the partnership him and Bex had, could be a real gem until he goes back/higher up

Well with his England u19 games that 3 1/2 games for Ledson in about 11 days great to see he's making the most of his opportunity and really working at it, sounds like he's playing like we know he can.
Good to see Grant and Felipe getting mentions too. It looked in the way the team sheet was written last Saturday that he played wing back, and there was a Twitter comment from Donny that " our wing backs Mattioni and can't remember , are playing well"
Great that they are all getting game time and all their clubs won tonight, though I see Dyson's Chester drew.

looks like Grant was in central midfield tonight?

League One
Wigan - Junior on sub's bench in 0-1 home defeat against Burton, came on in 76th minute.

OS Match Report

"83' Another corner for Latics, pressure building after @junior1992j got into a good position down the right."
"90+4' @junior1992j's cross from the right earns a corner."

Doncaster Rovers - Grant and Mattioni start in 3-0 home win against Chesterfield.

OS Match Report
"Williams went close moments later as a clever free kick from Conor Grant was played short to the striker. Hitting it first time from 14 yards, Williams’ shot was just over the bar."
"Despite remaining goalless, Rovers looked well in control and were playing exciting football. Grant continued to control the midfield as Cedric Evina caused problems down the left wing."
"Felipe Mattioni broke down the right beating the defence before crossing low for Williams. Shooting with his left from six yards Lee was rapid off his line to block the shot."
"It was Felipe again who rattled the defence. With acres of space down the right he went for the shot rather than squaring the ball to an unmarked Williams in the box."
"On the hour mark Felipe again pressured and won a penalty for the home side as Daniel Jones handled the ball in the area. Nathan Tyson stepped up and saw his spot kick saved by Lee, but he scrambled in the rebound from 3 yards to give Darren Ferguson’s men a deserved lead."

Plus plenty of Twitter over-excitement as mentioned above...

"Felipe, was top class and MoM for me, we'll do well to keep him longer than his loan spell."
"MOTM by an absolute mile. How Coppinger won it I don't know."
"If he gets through this loan spell without injury, Everton will want him in their first team."
"Felipe made up for Saturday. He may as well have sat with me in the South Stand in the 2nd half v Rochdale."
"To my mind Grant was outstanding, with Evina not far behind."
"Mattioni is getting better as he gets fitter."

Fleetwood Town - Henen played whole match in 2-1 home win over Millwall.

OS Match Report (not up yet)

"Clever pass from @davidbally23 cuts open the Millwall defence as @HenenDavid races through but a heavy touch lets him down. 0-0 (9)"
"Delightful, just delightful. @HenenDavid cheeky back heel allows @ASarcevic to take possession forward but a strike is saved. 0-0 (28)"
".@HenenDavid has the first attempt of the half, a well struck shot but straight at Archer at a good height for the keeper. 0-0 (47)"

League Two
Cambridge Utd - Ryan Ledson played full fame in 4-2 away win at Morecambe, booked for 'bad foul'.

OS Match Report
"Ryan Ledson came closest of anyone to adding to the United lead, when his curling effort with minutes left on the clock whistled past the far left post, as Barry Roche helplessly watched on."

Fan comments (unfortunately Proboards link above seems to be only active forum)
"Berry, Ledson & Newton were superb in midfield & were unlucky not to notch a couple of goals between them."
"Ledson, brilliant with his passing again, also getting stuck in."

National League
Chester - Calum Dyson started in 1-1 home draw against Dover, subbed in 66th minute

OS Match Report
"The Blues were adapting to conditions slightly better than their visitors, Calum Dyson seeing his flick header deflected just beyond the goal."

15' | Almost a first sniff after Calum Dyson progresses well down the left, but his pull back for Hannah is intercepted. 0-0.
32' | Close for Dyson as he reacts quickly to a Higgins ball from a short corner. His header is blocked for another corner. Still 0-0.

Random fan comments
"Burrs brand of football is to continuously boot the ball from every goal-kick, free kick and any other time to the left where the what should be centre forward is playing. Dyson is a striker not a winger as is Hobbo."
"I would have kept Dyson on and brought Hobson ,on for Mahon, to try and get the ball to stick, in the final third."

.....chatted with a Fleetwood fan who was at the game last night. He said Henen was quieter than Saturday, particularly in the 2nd half but the fans have really taken to him. Fleetwood play Blackpool on Saturday and he will write himself in their folklore if he manages to get a goal and Fleetwood win.

So far so good.
