Everton players out on loan (2015/16)

Ya hard to know.a middlesbrough loanee was keeping him out of the team when he first went there but i thought after his goal he might get a run but like you said he might be trying players but if thats the case then he must not have been impressing in training.
Loans can be good bad or indifferent depending on the player,I remember Barkley going to a very ordinary Sheff Wed thinking he'd be their star player every week,he seemed to do OKish then came the disaster at Leeds although sending him to a Warnock team in hindsight wasn't a wise move.Conor Grant is looking to be the perfect loan, great attitude great reviews by their supporters.Maybe Garbutt sees himself as a Prem player and has that attitude around Fulham which isn't good, maybe he's investing in West London night life, who knows. But if he isn't going to be a regular starter can't see the point of him staying.

It's good to see some of the young lads going out on loan and doing well in more competitive games, it can only bode well for the development.

Also Garbutt is on the bench again for Fulham and Henen not in the squad at all at Fleetwood, possible that we haven't renewed his loan with them.

was henen not injured for their last game? see him linked with a couple of loans abroad in the last week which would be a bit strange.

Yep, Henen missed the previous game through injury.

Unless we are thinking of moving him on?

Henen tweeted saying good luck to Fleetwood in their game tonight, guessing he's hurt/loan hasn't been renewed yet.

Must still be injured,

Fleetwood’s high hopes for Henen Comeback
Steven Pressley is hoping to have Everton ace David Henen fit for tomorrow’s New Year showdown at home to Bury.

Steven Pressley is hoping to have Everton ace David Henen fit for tomorrow’s New Year showdown at home to Bury.

The Belgian teenager missed Monday’s defeat by Wigan Athletic, having picked up an ankle injury in the Boxing Day draw at Shrewsbury.

He failed a late fitness test ahead of the Latics clash but is likely to be back in contention as Fleetwood look to make a positive start to 2016 against the Shakers.

And Pressley is keen to have the former Olympiakos forward back.
The Town manager told The Gazette: “On Tuesday I think we missed the threat in behind. David’s got such pace. He’s such a willing runner through and we missed that.

“We’re hopeful for Bury. It’s just an ankle problem from a knock at Shrewsbury. There’s swelling there and unfortunately he wasn’t ready for Monday.”

So some loan players not in action either through injury or game being called off (Henen, Mattioni, Brewster). Mattioni back at Everton to have injury assessed before decision on loan extension (as earlier in thread).

Championsip
Fulham - started on subs bench and came on in 71st minute of 0-1 home defeat against Sheffield Wednesday

Random fan comments (in forum dispute about defence and left back position)
"Garbutt - absolutely useless"
"Not only was I at the game but had to endure stupefying boring tactics in the 2nd half - no forward play - no left side attacking - excluding Garbutt who is a joke with the amount of effort he puts in" (think this one is positive!)
"I like Ream but what has happened to him? He can't seem to see a forward pass, never mind a forward run or an overlap! He's surely one of our three CB options and we need either Garbutt to step up or try to get Husband back."

League One
Doncaster - Conor Grant played 90 minutes in 0-3 away win at Southend

OS Match Report

"Then Conor Grant forced a save off Bentley, before the returning Luke McCullough had a headed effort cleared off the bar."

Twitter stuff
2' Pressure from Rovers, Grant into Tyson, he crosses and Rovers win a corner 0-0 Grant takes it but Southend clear...
5' Another corner now for Rovers, Grant to take left footed...0-0
18' Grant takes a freekick it comes to Butler at the back post who heads at goal. Bentley saves. 0-0
19' Grant to take another freekick, left footed...it goes across the face of the goal and out for a goal kick 0-0
32' Williams crosses again, it falls to Grant on the edge of the box who shoots. Bentley saves 0-0
50' Grant fouled by Leonard who gets a yellow card for his troubles. 30 yards out.... Keegan is behind it .....ATS plays it short to Grant who fires one across the face of the goal..... Southend get a touch and Rovers have a corner. Well worked. Which is cleared...
Another corner to Rovers, Grant takes...Southend clear at the second attempt...
53' Lovely spell of pressure here by Rovers who have started the second half very, very well. 0-1
65' Rovers have a freekick 20 yards out, wide right. Keegan or Grant to take.... CLOSE: Grant shoots with a Kevin Sheedy like effort, Just wide 0-3

DF: Felipe Mattioni has returned to @everton while we're not far from securing Craig Alcock from @SUFC (also a right back, I think?)

League Two
Cambridge - Ryan Ledson played 90 minutes in 1-4 home defeat to Wimbledon

OS Match Report
"With the U’s looking for a quick response, Conor Newton and Ryan Ledson, who had signed an extended loan deal with Cambridge prior to kick off, skewed efforts from the edge of the area to level the scores."

Twitter stuff
12' Berrys tees up Ledson, but the Everton loanee can't get a clean connection from 20 yards and the shot rolls wide

Random - and fairly unanimous fan comments

Am I the only one beginning to think Ryan Ledson isn't 'all that'?
No. His energy is decent but ball retention terrible. We badly need a midfield general.
I like Ledson but he really needed a rest today.
I think people need to remember Ledson is 18 years old, he probably could've done with a rest after Xmas matches.
Ledson and Newton look like they need a rest.
Regarding the midfield I feel a bit for Derry, because based on recent form you simply don't drop any of Berry, Ledson or Newton. But the latter two were both poor today, they got absolutely bullied by Wimbledon's centre mids.
Liam Hughes would have been lynched if he made as many loose passes as Ledson today.
Very much doubt Roberts, Legge and Ledson's p*ss poor hoofs forward like today would suit Gaffney anyway
Ledson needs a break
His fellow Premier League youth teamer Ledson has become less influential as his loan spell has gone on and we have to hope the downward trajectory of his performances doesn’t continue; if he was our own player, he would be rested. It hasn’t helped that his defensive midfield partner, Newton, seems to have gone off the boil at the same time.
Others were poor today Ledson can't pass to a yellow shirt...
Maybe at 18 Ledson *shouldn't* need a rest but the point is that he obviously does.
Ledson will probably be a great player in 2-3 years time, but it's clear he needs a game or 2 off, should have been subbed for Hughes today.
