And I respect that opinion, though I disagree with the idea he has passed his time. Thats also different than those devaluing his time while he was here, which to me is bad revisionist history.

If you look at the market mate, very few are investing big money in players over 25, if they do it’s generally a specialist 9.

Transfers are changing I think.

Not to say you wouldn’t get a performance but transfers are as much investments now as anything, prime in the market is under 25 with resale - I know you’re talking on the pitch and Richy has a good five years in him, but his age is partly why the club won’t invest in him and we will move on! ;)

Find the change in the market and are approach to it interesting, rightly or wrongly, if we stick to our philosophey we won’t invest in him, he’s past it for us as an investment, whatever about on the field and his only way back here is a loan, free or super value deal, I think.

It's an approach I don't think many would argue with.

Did love him though, but he's gone now so we move on
