The fact you can't actually loan two players from the same team highlights how thorough the talksport reporters are mate.

From what I`ve seen, Castuje was going to Brentford for £10m but the deal broke down, Ipswich came in and I`m led to believe Everton are trying to hijack the deal for the same type of money he was going to Brentford on a permanent transfer.

I know that's the case for clubs in England is it the same for club outside the English system? Can't find anything definitive online.

They can't stand him at utd because he dosent put any effort in. Never tracks back and ambles about like he dosent care, all while on about 300k a week. He's never coming to Everton though.

Anyone who is happy that teams who will be in the bottom half of the table are strengthening their squads is mad.

Phillips would have done a job for us no doubt. He’s an Everton type of midfielder and he would have been good.

Not ten million for a season long loan good...

You can't loan two players from the same club in England, but does that rule apply to foreign loans? I'm not sure I can ever remember seeing a rule which explicitly didn't allow that? Unless it's changed recently?

Foreign clubs are allowed to have more than one player on loan from the same team - I know Forest had two players on loan at Olympiakos last season, so this would be a specific PL rule against allowing loans to PL sides from one club outside it's jurisdiction?

I'm actually pretty happy that the club have decided to give him a proper look. Again - reinforces to me that the player himself is willing to accept our terms should we offer him a deal.

Agree, extra numbers in that position would be good, especially if he's on a lower wage.
