Right back situation: did we ever enquire about Calvin Ramsey at Liverpool?

Went to Wigan on loan this summer after a terrible time with injuries.

IIRC - and the Scottish lads will verify this or not - he had a very good reputation at Aberdeen, which is why Liverpool jumped in for him.

We defo need reinforcements there and a loan deal for him might have worked out.

Hes also joined Wigan on loan.

As I keep saying, we currently have 5 RBs, we aint getting another till we offload 1.

The 5?

Patto, Coleman, Young, Holgate, Keane.

Mate he’s on loan in League 1.

Not necessarily. The Championship is very competitive for places. Half of them have been PL clubs in the last 5 years.

Wigan is local and has a manager who has used LFC before in the past for loan deals.

In any case, Ramsey appears to have been a very exciting prospect and I just wondered, given his availability on a loan, whether Everton could have enquired.

He was good and very highly rated at Aberdeen but as you've pointed out he's had a torrid time with injuries. Didn't really light it up at Bolton last year either.

I think all our RBs are pretty bad and we need a new 1, but sadly we gave contracts to 2 of them this Summer and thats that.
