We have seemingly only gone for Gnonto for two summer windows despite not being able to afford him then when we cant get him we don't go for another player of that profile.

We went for three of them this year mate, one went villa the other tore us a new one first half yesterday and the others Gnoto.

We did but there are more than three wingers with pace in the world. There are players you can get with pace out there that do not cost 25m plus.

The same options remain no matter who replaces Dyche.

My point is - any manager and I'm saying we need to play % football because we're the slowest team in the league, and we're not very good.

I wish I could subscribe to "new manager sorts this" but the new manager would be David Moyes anyway.

Moyes is many times the manager Dyche is, Moyes has shown he can evolve a team.

I agree mate Dixon should have got more minutes preseason too. But its who Dyche is conservative, stubborn and infliexible. He will play a Keane, Young or even Holgate over a promising player unless he is forced into it.

Yes and plays two wingers who produce very little because they work hard back defending

Id like to see a 3421 with Ndiaye/Lindstrom feeding off the CF as well as providing the creativity. McNeil/Garner/Harrison play wide removing the need for fullbacks.

Even if Dyche sticks with a back 4 I'd want to keep the 2 number 10's and remove the wingers in a 4321.

I honestly wonder whether Thelwell, doing the business he’s done, is trying to gently guide Dyche to this (either) conclusion.
