That poor dude from SSN on Deadline day standing outside Finch Farm with no light on in the building.

"Im hearing its going to be quiet" - as hes 10 miles away from the nearest lightbulb.

Better to swerve deadline day as it has been in recent years too.
It might have been an event in years past but its becoming more of a damp squib with each passing season.
Better to check on Saturday morning and see what a load of fuss has been made of, for nothing.
If we get one loan, that will be it. It's pointless to spend the whole day wondering who we'll (not) sign.
It's totally plausible too that we'll sign someone who plays for about 20 minutes in the whole season.

Happy to see my prediction of a return to Chesterfield be proved wrong. Jumping up 2 divisions is great, even if Blackpool have been a bit of a basket case recently.
