It's not inconsistent with anything Thelwell has said before TBF. He's said in the past that the manager and DOF both need to sign off on a player.

That's something that usually happens at every normal leaded club...

I haven't a issue with rejecting players because ultimately it's his job to get those players working on the pitch.

Also let's not forget Thelwell signed Maupey so not all players are good for us

There is something likely about that... But I don't blame someone without actual proofs. Despite I trust in Kev to bring in solid options.

Never seen him. They've hardly a great record with signings, Gibbs-White being the exception and maybe Murillo. Bove becomes another faceless squad player then loaned to Olympiakos in Jan

Nah he's a really good young player mate and will suit this league perfectly

Apparently that was an owner signing for Lampard mate as fat frank really wanted him.

Nothing really to the Ernest Nuamah thing according to Bobble. Lyon have contacted us to say he's available and that's about it. He did say this on his podcast earlier though (before the Fab Romano tweet), so maybe things have changed.

I just dont believe this. Unless they were utter crap. Why would Dyche reject quality players that we need but agree to Lindstrom and Ndiaye - neither of whom fit his MO. We have been after a fast/pacey winger for years - are we saying that Kev found a few and Dyche said no, lets get slower player and player them out of position?!??!Lets not get cover at CB/RB/LB we've got Young

Could accept some players because there's a trade off between DoF and manager, we sign Ndiaye we resign young on a one year, we sign Lindstrom we'll not offload Doucoure etc

Plausible that's what we are seeing mate.

Would also explain why when we ran out of sweeteners to offer him the signings dried up as Dyche wasn't getting what he wanted at that point to bring in a Thelwell choice.

It just seems too vague and far fetched imo. Could they really be that far away on the type of player needed that cannot agree on any other than a few who do not even the managers MO? I just cannot see it.

Weird if he did as he didn’t seem to particularly want to play him , started him four or five games then off the bench mostly for cameos except the odd occasion injury got him in . The stats tell you how many appearances , their first season think it’s 12 starts and he’s about the same on the bench not even coming on .

Yup, but Dyche I can well see only agreeing to players without league experience if he gets something out of it he wants, very much fits his personality of an ego centric dinosaur.
