Know Nixon is pretty low tier, but an FFP swap with City might be plausible? I assume the young Everton player would be Lukjanciks and Kabore would be a logical one to come the other way.
It seems like the Villa transfers is some sort of PSR loophole. Can someone explain it like I'm 6?
I think, but don’t quote me, the sales go in our profits column this year but the purchases in our outgoings next year based on when the money is paid out? So basically improves the balance sheet position for our psrIt seems like the Villa transfers is some sort of PSR loophole. Can someone explain it like I'm 6?
Basically, you get the entire value of an outgoing transfer on your PSR figures immediately minus book value (so, let's say £9m for Dobbin, book value £0). Whereas the incoming players fee is spread over the length of their contract (for example, Ironman signs for £9m but signs a 3 year contract which equates to £3m a year, leaving us £6m up on PSR).It seems like the Villa transfers is some sort of PSR loophole. He has a loan clause, that allow prl teams to sign him for 100% of his wages, when Leeds are in the Championship.Wonder if the obligation to buy at the end of his loan is in the deal? Hopefully only a small fee if so.
That makes sense. Well, no it doesn't make sense, its totally dumb, but at least I understand it now. It's dumb, but there it is. Both Everton and Villa buy a £9m player but we both end up £6m up on our PSR stats!
