Everton Summer 2024 Transfer Thread

Good deal on loan but...

Have we not tried this DCL, Harrison, McNeil trio out all season and found it to be very average?
indeed i hope the Ndiaye links are true and we have more support for DCL (if he even stays).
also we need 1-2 wingers from the bench that Dyche actually plays.

i had no problem with him starting Harrison / Mc Neil and they fit the system of Dyche
However too often last season i was wondering why we would not change the wide men in the last 20 mins or so of games

agree that adding Ndiaye should help but we also need some more options out wide. We seem to be linked with players like Kobore and Archie brown who can play both all over the wing as full back, wing back or winger, so I wonder if that’s the approach we’ll end up taking

Chadwick! Theres a blast from the past

Think he went on to have a really decent career at the lower levels, fair play to him.

Phil Jevons had a super career as well.

Peter Clarke also had a great career.

Sometimes for the players themselves its better for them to let them go - to find their level and find a career for themselves.

Brendon Galloway was here for ages too.

Who was that Centre forward back in the day, Nick Chadwick i think.
Galloway and Garbutt both got new contracts after reaching first team level thats why they stayed longer because nobody would give them the money they were on here Dobbin would be the same now we'd have to give him a new contract and if he didn't push on he'd end up staying til he was 24 or 25 without properly breaking through.

100%. It might seem harsh but letting someone like Warrington go at 21 rather than stringing him along on 1 or 2 year deals is likely to be far better for his career.

Disappointed we didnt get a fee for Warrigton, hes a good player who will go on to have a good career, but a great servant so wouldn't begrudge him the freedom, made up he got on the pitch for an appearance.

Just had a look Fraser Hornby is playing in the Budesliga!

Fair play to the lad.
