Brest are in the Champions League so it may not impact them as much as other sides in France, although they will all probably feel the effects if a deal cannot be achieved.

Just going through the lyon team and seen that matić plays for them. Im astonished that hes only 35 years old, thought he was 30 about a decade ago

Yeah because Carlo wakes up in the morning thinking about some mid table club he worked at for a bit several years ago, doesn't he. Bet he lays awake at night just hoping good things happen to Everton. If 'the Turkish lad' isn't playing regularly for Madrid next season, he'll have his pick of top clubs, he isn't coming to some team thats been battling relegation for three years and wins a dozen games a season playing hoof ball.

Just coming off an injury plagued season and with the squad 'Madrid' have at the mo, he's got no chance to be playing regularly next season.
The best and most likely thing they could do to improve him by getting him game-time is Loan him out...
