I think we all know how good he his, and its unrealistic to hold onto for long where we are

Our fanbase are similiar, happy to pay bigger money for foreign players they haven’t heard of, but look down on proven PL players.

Bologna are interested in signing Everton striker Beto, with the Serie A club exploring the conditions of a potential deal.

Beto's has three years remaining on his deal at Goodison Park.

Bologna - who will play in the Champions League this season - sold forward Joshua Zirkzee to Manchester United earlier this month.

That's because we have done the whole 'PL experience' thing to death and it's achieved the sum total of nothing. Also there is the price factor, PL players always cost more, especially English ones.

We've wasted money on players from all over its not anything to do with where we get them from we just haven't found the right players in any market for the last 10 years or so. The reason people get more excited about players from other leagues is very simple and its just that they haven't seen them as much so can dream of them being great instead of knowing already what to expect.

He’s no where near our highest earner, people need to stop reading bogey spotrac sites. He’s on 80k a week if even.

Someone like Gomes cost us 11 mill a year, weigh that up in the context of a PSR charge, yet Doucoure has fought and contributed double what someone like Gomes has.

Every single team needs a Doucoure.

Gomes has gone and docs was put on 130k a week with his last contract …

He is a massive part of why we cannot retain possession and why our attacks break down as soon as we start a counter , and also a huge reason we struggle to score goals
