There must be another option to Philips. It's a global market. The hard yards have to be done in terms of scouting.

The lower the fee, the bigger risk you can tolerate. We have to be creative as a club in that aspect. There are always too many gaps to be filled on too tight a budget.

The business done so far looks fine but I'd like to see us try to unearth someone in a bit of a more left-field manner for at least one position, as hard as that can be.

Apart from the odd Liverpool FC team coach during the season it is incredibly boring

I mean I wasn't expecting it to be like a Hotel Babylon episode. It's just a vital 2 month job for a faithful watchdog.
