His match winning return against Bournemouth feels like the lone bright spot in about the past 10 years.Wonders into transfer thread.. *rubs eyes*
Sees about 5 pages on Niasse’s 2017/18 season.

People still think Iwobi is crap. Once you are tarnished you remain that way forever.Did everyone just sleep through the 17/18 season? I mean I wish I did but still
Peak moshiri if we didI'm sure it's already been said, but let's sign Cavani.
I would rather we didnt.I'm sure it's already been said, but let's sign Cavani.
A goal every 166 minutes for us. That's better than 1 every other game. Yes he wasn't a fantastic player, but he always gave his all. Considering the wasters we have watched for the last 5 years, some of which barely break a sweat in 90 mins, we have made much worse signings. It's all relative.
Niasse, at the time, was the 2nd most expensive signing in our history
This is pretty much the life of an Everton fan to be fair.Sometimes I wonder why you even support Everton. You seem to hate everything about it.
I wouldn't expect you to want someone who could potentially push Zoolander for his place.I would rather we didnt.
Again, it's relative, which is why I say "pound for pound".Nowhere near.
Niasse cost 13m, he may not have been good but he actually won us a couple of games.
We have had players cost twice as much and done absolutely nothing. Klaassen, Gbamin, Tosun etc.
He's probably not even in the top 10 of worst pound for pound signings. That's not a compliment to him either!
It would only be peak Moshiri if we then hired his mortal enemy to be the manager.Peak moshiri if we did
This is a flex...I'm sure it's already been said, but let's sign Cavani.
Or paid him about 200k with a 5 year deal , that's actually realistic. It would only be peak Moshiri if we then hired his mortal enemy to be the manager.
That cant be right like.Again, it's relative, which is why I say "pound for pound".
Niasse, at the time, was our 2nd most expensive ever signing
Don't get me wrong, he isn't out on his own - Bolasie, Sigurdsson, Nyarko, Bilic, Klaassen, Schneiderlin, Tosun etc
You could make arguments for all of them, but on the balance of what I saw on the pitch Niasse takes it for me
The original argument was about Doucore vs Niasse - in the opening half a dozen games of last season Doucoure looked worth every penny we paid for him. Niasse, despite shinning a few in, never ever looked like an actual footballer to me
Do you know what, you're right mate. The Fellaini one I'd forgotten. 3rd most then tbfThat cant be right like.
Lukaku 30m
Fellaini 15m (craziest deadline signing ever btw, nobody had known about it and got released at 2am after the deadline)
