Who replaced a striker with poor scoring record, and we were all the worse for losing Marcus Bent.

Bent was great for a while. Think it was only about 1/2 a season though.

When Gordon goes mate, we will shift to a 5-3-2 I'm almost certain of it.

We've basically sold the two best wide men we have, and McNeil doesn't have the pace to play there, and Gray is awful.

Names like Garner, Gallagher suit that formation, as does Dele.

….agree, I have thought we’re likely to switch to that formation but lots will depend on who comes in. Gordon was the one who took risk, the one who got behind the opposition defence, if he goes I don’t believe we‘ll have an attacker who will stretch the opposition.

The next players in are crucial. If we spend wisely, we could actually be better than we currently are but that’s a big ‘if’.

Bent was great for a while. Think it was only about 1/2 a season though.

He proved his worth over the full season we finished fourth in my mind mate. Then we agitated for someone sexier with more goals and Beattie made the sum of the parts so much less. Being optimistic perhaps that’s what they’re chasing Che Adams, although obvs I’d prefer a more overall package.

CM No.8 and No.6. What`s going on with Gana?!? Looking more unlikely now.
A winger with pace and creativity
A striker, perhaps 2. Adams could easily fit in to one of the wide roles.

My absolute FEAR is that Moshiri has said judge me at the end of the window, if Thelwell can`t deliver will Moshiri go running to Kia Joorabchian to get a player? To save face...

With these run of games we could be sat here with no wins in 6, I cant see a win in any of them unless we change this 5 at the back ?! IF Frank isnt going to change the system perhaps something else needs to change.......
