It can but it won’t. Plus Alli was once a top player and Gray has never been so they aren’t the same anyway.

More rumours on Sporting CP midfielder Joao Palhinha this summer. Sporting are willing to accept £21m and with the 5 subs rule hopefully we can get more players in. Really would like atleast 2cb, 2cm and 2 wingers if we can sell rondon maybe another cf. realy have to use the loan market aswell for next season to give us better options in the squad

Signing players from relegation fodder is a massive part of why we are crap.

All signed from relagated or struggling teams and we got nothing back fanacially for them.

Players playing at the bottom are normally crap, that’s why they are there.
Sometimes someone stands out and is on the up ( Pickford) but usually this is not the case.

Filling the squad with these type of players is a receipe for disaster which is made even worse when they’re on massive contracts

Not for nothing but Joel, McCarthy and Williams were good buys. Williams was a rock for Swansea and just had a fantastic Euros, nobody was to know that was the last time he was good. Robles and McCarthy were perfectly acceptable buys to good buys in McCarthys case until injuries wrecked him.

I've GOT to imagine Jason Knight should cost buttons. League 1 ffs! No more than 5m I would think.

I've just had a look at his stats. 1 goal in 18 games in that league doesn't suggest a very good season. Granted I've not watched him or seen how many assists he has got.

2 golas and 12 assits in 20 games mate. Just six games he didn't bring home an attacking return.

He played 3 games in the Club World Cup - Chelsea won, he had 2 attacking returns in the he 3 games.

Ahh them figures don't look bad then. I just went on Wikipedia and it said 1 goal in 18 games which surprised me.
