33m deal for Ekitike is the type of signing we can't risk, too many variables, language barrier, while he settle in England. The Monaco lad looks a player and b exactly the type of signing we need, but fully capped now so adds millions to his value. Unless it's low fees and we buy on potential I can't see Lampard taking a pint. Young lads not being giving a chance at Chelsea and a City will be our market along with championship players.

Is there a language barrier? French lads speak English...

Kamara is a no brainer as the DM on a free in the summer.

The trade off with Ekitike is that if we go for him now the price may be similar to the Newcastle fee of £33mil+add ons...as in the case with Tchouameni (who you highlighted) once capped the interest and the valuation goes up.

If we did sell DCL and Richarlison this summer and replaced them with Gouiri, Ekitike, Kamara and Tchouameni i think that would represent fantastic business.

All four of them could be long term French internationals and playing together under Lampard may be the clincher.

Anyway, it was more about highlighting the type of French talent available but also that there are others available such as Doku and also De Ketelaere of Belgium.

Each of the well known leagues will have 5 or 6 young players that could be attainable.

The trick for us is going for them and seeing who wants to join that isnt picked up by a top side.

You genuinelly think we can attract those players with no one else in for them

Selling your two biggest assets and replacing them with four unknowns would be madness even for us. We’ve wasted enough money as it is.
