From the beginning of Moshiri's reign weve had an annual £55mil net spend on transfers. So thats £275mil over 5 windows.

We would easily make that back from player sales and be able to reinvest.

The issues are the extravagant wages being handed out to players who seem to treble their previous salaries...and the premier league caps on expenditure.

not sure honestly thought a move to us might be more suited to him. we are crying out for some long bursting runs down the field, he would have been an instant hero. If Inter dont play wing backs i am not sure he will succeed there. Never mind FFS Brands get a move on for a right back now !!

Hypothetically its not "pointless".

Leicester, Atletico and plenty of other teams have sold their top players to push themselves further up the table.

As much as we like the players, what if their replacement is better?

Weve got 5 centre backs in; Mina, Godfrey, Keane, Holgate and Branthwaite.

What if we sold 2 of them and signed a young star player for the combined fee?

What if we sold Richarlison (who i really like) and brought in 2 or 3 top young players for the same fee?
