He's not even slow He's probably a similiar pace to Richarlison who again isn't rapid!
Fans have moaned for years about signing over the hill players or over rated players like Bolasie/Siggurdsson so when linked to a 21 year old with good potential and of good pedigree/mentality "nah dont want him lad doesn't score 20 goals a season or has Vardy pace".

Wide players dont just have to be about goals - him scoring 8 goals and getting 2 assists is no better than him scoring 2 goals and getting 8 assists.

Im just saying mate everytime we are linked with a player of good pedigree half our fanbase finds something to moan about and that said player isn't good enough for midtable Everton.
We missed the boat with Leon Bailey there aint many top wide players out there who'll come to us at present and even then Bailey could flop in England like Pepe has at Arsenal.
If McNeil comes I'll be happy enough but each to their own
